Call For Submissions

Soliciting poetry for issue 2 of Peter Parasol, "The Gasp Mechanism." This issue will be dedicated to poems written in response to any/all of these details from a work of fiber art by Sarah Lariviere:

Guidelines:

• One piece per author.
• Free verse or prose poems preferred over formal ones.
• Preference will be given to writing that is clearly involved with Sarah's piece (e.g. by directly quoting language or imagery).

Email your work by April 30, 2008 to editor[at]peterparasol[dot]net, either in the body of the email or attached in RTF or HTML format. Don't forget to include the title and a brief bio.

This is a 100% electronic, 100% non-paying market. Please don't send reprints or simultaneous submissions. We are asking for non-exclusive rights to publish the piece and archive it on this site. Acceptances will be sent out by May 11th and the issue will go live on May 25th.
